Estúdio 408 is a creative studio located in Lisbon, Portugal.
We work in animation, concept art, visualizations, branding, design, games, and toys.
One of our great passions is animation, making it our first goal to create the perfect story and bring it to life.
Inês was born in 1995 at the sunny southern city of Tavira, Portugal. In an old tape recorded by her father, she incessantly repeats to the camera “and now, what should I do?”.
She has a Bachelor’s in Physics and an interrupted Master’s in Mathematics. In 2019, she earned a post graduate degree in Illustration. In the following year, Inês was selected to the Illustrators Exhibition of Bologna Children’s Book Fair. She was also selected to the European project “Every Story Matters”, where she writes and illustrates inclusive stories. She still questions everything, but now she occasionally stops to draw.
MAGO studio is a risograph printing project founded by the illustrators Bina Tangerina and Marcos Martos.
The studio was born out of a passion for illustration, less conventional and more sustainable printing methods and the will to explore new techniques to reproduce their artworks.
In addition to the printing service, they seek to share their knowledge of this printing technique and promote the work of the artists and illustrators they collaborate with.
Maria Remédio is a visual artist that works mainly in illustration, video documentary and artistic education. Maria has published her illustrations in children’s books, magazines, booklets and independent publications. Collaborates as cultural mediator at Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and Cinemateca Júnior among other cultural institutions. Makes documentary films mainly about the artistic processes involving communities and education.
Works between the countryside and Lisbon where she lives with her husband, kids
Mário Linhares (Lisbon, Portugal) studied at the Artistic School António Arroio. Having two Graduations – Landscape Design, and Industrial Design – he also holds a Master Degree in Visual Arts Education, and he is currently doing his Ph.D. on Drawing.
Draws compulsively and idealizes artistic and humanitarian projects since ‘97. Is married, have one son, and draws on the sketchbooks his wife makes. Enjoys walking, taking public transportation and discussing ideas with friends. He founded Urban Sketchers Portugal in 2009, joined the International Executive Board in 2011 and was the Education Director of Urban Sketchers until 2019.
Currently, he heads the USk Research field. Co-author of the awarded travel book: Carnet de Voyage | Côte d’Ivoire, he contributes to different books about urban sketching, exhibitions, and lectures worldwide.

Yuxing Li is a Chinese-German illustrator and visual artist living in Hamburg, Germany. She studied graphic design and illustration in Düsseldorf, Essen and Hamburg.
She makes images for press, publishing and cultural institutions. She has worked for Süddeutsche Zeitung, WeTransfer, Konfuzius Institut, Bayerische Staatsoper among others and has published „AT THE CLUB” with 3° Verlag. Her visual language is bright and playful, using simple shapes and cheerful colours. In her practice, she explores relationships between people, inspired by everyday life and movements.
Her work was awarded with Grand Prix Ilustrarte in 2018 and has been exhibited in group shows in Hamburg, Shanghai, Bologna and Bogotá.
